Puppy Sketch Demo

A drawing made during a demo to the kids in May 2024. This was a lesson in how to draw with a pencil, scan, and basic digital software overview for layers, filters, and blending options.

Soldiers and Angels

I made a series of these drawings in 2008. Some of them were done straight in ink, others were done with solid brushes in Photoshop, and at times they were just hard mix layer overlays. I have been meaning to go back to some of these for a long time and just not getting around to it.

One of the religious concepts I've always been fascinated about are agelic warriors. There has to be some sort of weapon to push back against the dark, right?

It's Mine!

Quick sketch done in Photoshop sometime in 2009. Inspired by a scene from Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig. Amazing movie, highly recommend.

Magicka Character

I loved the game Magicka. Can't recommend it enough. Such a wild and unexpectedly cool game back in the day with some really neat little mage characters that have unlimited magic power. This is my take on a character fromt he game. I made this drawing sometime towards the end of 2013 and it was all done in Photoshop.

Alpha

This is a drawing made in 2006 or 2007 that was painted over digitally, and updated yet again in 2024. It's actually a drawing I had lost over the years, I could not locate the PSD file for this work, but found a low res image online on one of my other sites. The character is from the Eternal Seven story.

Centaur Warrior with Armor

This is a digital painting done in 2012. The original was NSFW, I touched it up in 2024 to make it more... user friendly! Entirely done in Photoshop.

Pencil Portraits and Sketches from 2012

This cute little guy was about 1 (one) inches wide by 1 (one) inches tall when I drew him. Nailed it!

Again, anotehr tiny pencil sketch portrait, inspired by the Skyrim forsworn characters.

This blindfolded portrait was slightly altered digitally.

Last but not least, this was anotehr tiny sketch, inspired by the game Magika. If you haven't tried this game, the OG one, I highly recommend it. Lots of fun!

Mixed Media Girl Painting

2007 was the year I really started experimenting with digitally painting over my traditional drawings. This is an approach I still use more than a decade later and here is one of my earliest attempts at it. This was a pencil drawing that was painted over in Photoshop.
