The Duel

This is a pencil drawing from 2006 (I think) that was colored digitally in Photoshop. It represents about the peak of my art skills at the time. I did this for a Blizzard art challenge that was posted online and the drawing represents a couple of characters from Warcraft. When I look back at this now, it looks terrible, but I still love it.

Zalei Ironhand

This is the original, first art, of a character from the Eternal Seven story. The concept has since been refined, but I love this old pencil drawing made sometime in 2006. Color is a simple overlay done in Photoshop.

Empath Demon

This is an ink drawing from 2015.
 

Ironically, this is also my most stolen artowrk. I've seen multiple instances on the internet where this artowrk was claimed/stolen by other artists, in some instances generating quite a lot of likes and comments. Once again proving I'm terrible at marketing myself and generating exposure for my art. It's ok though, at least I'm making the art. Maybe long after I'm dead my art will be worth something. For now it's just a release for me, and that is the ultimate point in art. Cheers!

This is a mixed media artwork created sometime in 2015. The character is inspired and named after a player from Subspace. Mr. Hat, if you're reading this, I miss u.

Fantasy Landscape - Brush Test 2021

This is the result of a photoshop brush test.  Sometimes I like to try other people's brush packs and to just figure out what each of the brushes does I take it for a test drive.  When I started this I had no plan in terms of what I was going to draw, just made some shapes with the brushes, eventually something started looking like a tree and off we went... I actually love this process of painting, and some of my best works have come out this way.

Becoming

This is a digital artwork entirely done in Photoshop in January 2021. At the time I was working through a serious artist block, COVID was raging around the world and we were in lockdowns. Even though I was doing fine, I had a serious problem sitting down and drawing. For me art was always an outlet, to let my dark engergy and emotions go, and to do something not so destructive. But even though I could sense that I needed to draw I really struggled to do it.

So one day I somehow forced myself to sit down and draw, and this is what came out... No references were used. Little did I know that it would open a floodgate of art over the next few weeks and months.
