End of a Journey

The End of a Journey
This is an illustration I made in 2021 during what I would consider my most massive art dump ever. The colors don't work very well, esp the light and the sky mix, but I was trying new things and learning in the process.

Soul Catcher - Black Company

Soul Catcher from Black Company
This is a drawing depicting my take on Soul Catcher, one of the iconic characters in the Black Company series of fantasy books by Glen Cook. This character starts out as a mystery, and as you progress through the book you find out more about them. One of the terrifying powers Catcher has is the ability to mimic anyone's voice. I love the Black Company series, the characters, the way the story is told from the perspective of the weak, the journeys the company goes through, the triumphs and tragedies... I highly recommend it. This series has served as an inspiration for art and other famous authors were also inspired by the story.

This ballpoint pen ink sketch was made in 2019.

Fire Mage

Fire Mage
This is a character I designed sometime in 2009 as part of my Eternal Seven story. The drawing has been touched up multiple times since the initial sketch, to the point where I think it just needs a complete rework.

A Dark World

A Dark World - Illustration
This is a digital painting which was done in 2016 but then beefed up in Procreate sometime in 2018. My goal when I created this was to illustrate a fantasy landscape, with strange land shapes and a sense of mystery. The mage character is inspired by the video game Magika, and is featured in quite a few of my sketches where I like to add a figure for scale.

Beholder - September 2016

Beholders have always fascinated me, but in my imagination they are quite different from the classic beholders portrayed in fantasy art.
Beholder Sketch
This was a tiny ink sketch which I painted over in Photoshop. This was made sometime in 2016.
