Digital painting from 2008, made in Photoshop. The back on this beautiful creature is an amalgamation of the backs of two famous bodybuilders: Ronnie Coleman and Joel Stubbs.

This was a big year for me, made a big move to a new state, started a new job, and for some reason the inks really clicked that year. Ink was my original love back in the day and I had stopped using the medium for quite a long time in favor of pencil and charcoal... but in the year 2018 something clicked and reminded me of how much I love drawing with ink and how much better the art actually looks on a paper when it's done in ink.
