This is a pencil drawing done in 2008. The reference is the amazing Felicia Romero who used to be an IFBB figure competitor back in the days. Check out her IG, she's still going strong!
Here's a low res version of the original reference was from FLEX magazine. It's clear that I messed up the proportions but the drawing looked pretty good for my skill at the time. I don't know where this drawing is now, or how big the size was, but looking at some of the detailed highlights makes me think that this was actually larger than my normal half-page sketches.
This is a recent ink sketch which has been digitally modified. This sketch was not very well planned out, I was just scribbling on a piece of paper, trying to get the blue ink flowing from a pen that had not been used for years. At some point a wild dragon appeared! Done in April 2025.
This drawing was technically done in 2011, as it clearly says in the signature! However, notice the date, I guess the actual scanning and wrapping up was really done on the 1st day of 2012. Happy new year phuckerz!
This is a drawing and digital painting demonstration I did with the kids back in 2020. It started as a very quick and loose pencil sketch which we scanned then painted over. The idea was to show them how to quickly do things digitally and to make images more uniform. This was done in less than 1 hour, not really sure how much we spent actually drawing vs. just talking and showing different blending modes/overlays options.
The year of 2020 was a very strange one, I think I was busy with work and didn't actually draw all that much despite the COVID madness that had engulfed the world. This wasn't really intended to be anything special, just playing around with the kids and showing them how to do stuff.
This is a recent ink drawing that I reworked and colored using some fun techniques. The character is inspired by the very anatomically correct japanese animation style art... Original sketch and painting were completed in 2024. Cheers!
These are two sketches from earlier in 2024. I've been very busy at work this year and don't even have time for sketching during meetings. I do intend to beef both of these up, just not sure when it will happen. They both look really good in the real world though, very difficult to photograph or scan properly.
I used to do a lot of drawings strictly for practice, trying to learn how to draw the body and the face. This is another example of it. Pencil sketch modified in Photoshop.
This is also a pencil sketch that was modified in Photoshop.
This is a ballpoint pen ink sketch made in 2024. The drawing is tiny, about 4 inches across. I intend to either paint over or redo this at some point in more detail sometime in the future....
This is a drawing from 2008 that used a photo of Luba Shumeyko as a reference. She still looks amazing! The drawing was touched up in 2024 as the OG was NSFW.
This was a pencil drawing from 2009 that I had started to paint over digitally but never finished. As a result I don't think this artwork was ever published anywhere. I've improved a lot with my dragons since this art was done, but this was one of the bigger illustrations I attempted at the time.
A drawing made during a demo to the kids in May 2024. This was a lesson in how to draw with a pencil, scan, and basic digital software overview for layers, filters, and blending options.
